JC Spring 2010 Look Book

Ty at Jeffrey Campbell sent me his Spring 2010 look book and I have to say they blew it out of the park! I love the cut paste effects and that it was shot in black and white. Ty pulled from our 5th Ave store in NY for the clothing. It looks amazing and I am so happy that LF was apart of it! Go Ty!

Pretty Prada.

Prada's Fantasy Look Book Spring 2010 is out of this world. There are way too many elements that are working here for me. In short, the pigtails, the collection (sunglasses are making me drool!), use of graphics, and the Alice and Wonderland feeling of girl bigger than the world attitude! Oh wow!

Just The Beginning.

My inspiration for Spring has felt like blah blah, until now. I found that although some Designers have fresh looks..."Giles", my REAL inspiration came from more simple elements of every day life. Rudimentary colors such as soft pastels (Pink oddly enough looks new), the flowers that bloom in spring, interiors of homes, fluid movements of nature, and well anything of the native sort. So far, softer is making a come back. Much more to come!

I'm thinking about going Dark.

I have been torn about my hair for weeks. I was really feeling the ombre grown out roots look ala Alexa Chung and Rachel Bilson for quite some time. I found that it went well with all my dark outfits especially against black! Now, I am really into dark locks! I feel as if I should go more natural and that's what spring is all about I guess, and well I will save loads on touch ups! Throughts????
