Catching a glimpse of who/what strolled down the lawn of the infamous Coachella fields gave us a rush of new inspiration. At the top of our inspo list is what we like to call, "Bindiesque". The use of a bindi and or other face appliques can be taken to many levels depending on your commitment to the look. We witnessed in our last post (see below) that our lovely unicorn model, Kelsey dawned a more subtle bindi. This more simple approach was a good move considering she opted for neon hair...balance people! We have always been a tad obsessed with the likes of Gwen's bindi moment ala the 90's. Currently, we are lusting over Abbey Lee's take on the look...she never fails! For those of you who are in need of a more obscure approach try for rows of sequins, pearls or stickers on the face...why not? We are also getting serious about stencils folks, yup you heard it! Stand by...its happening!
I am so incredibly in love with the bindi. It adds just a lit bit more loveliness to one's face. I find Gwen Stefani so inspiring in terms of fashion and I loved her even more when I found out she wore bindis!
